How many does a large donatos pizza feed

The restaurant offers 3 main sizes of pizza including individual (7 inches), medium (12 inches), and large (14 inches).

A personal pizza has four slices, a small has six, a medium has eight and our large pizza has 10 slices.

Figure Out the Slices Per Size

Small pizzas average between 8 and 10 inches in diameter and will yield about six slices. Medium pizzas run 12 inches in diameter and will give you about eight slices. Large pizzas are 14 inches in diameter and will offer approximately 10 slices.

Small-sized pizzas are around eight inches and serve about two or three people. The medium-sized pizza measures around 14 inches and serves about five people. Then, the large pizzas sometimes go over 18 inches and would solve the craving for six or eight pizza fans.

A Small 10″ inch Pizza is normally cut into 6 slices and serves 2-3 people. A Medium 12″ inch Pizza is normally cut into 8 slices and serves 3-4 people. A Large 14″ inch Pizza is normally cut into 8 or 10 slices and serves 3-5 people.

Slice to Pizza Size Ratio

Small Pizza: 8-10 inch pizza with 6 slices. Medium Pizza: 12-14 inch pizza with 8 slices. Large Pizza: 14-16 inch pizza with 8 slices. Extra-large Pizza: 16-18 inch pizza with 8-10 slices.

And, it turns out, it really is handy (in that all you need are your hands): one serving of pizza equals the size of one or two of your hands. Says Young: “Since portion size is highly individual, it’s partly a matter of how many of your daily calories you might want to ‘spend’ on—for example—pizza that day.

The best way to calculate how many pizzas you should order is by following the 3/8 rule. Each guest is likely to eat three pizza slices, and the average large pizza serves around eight slices. Remember to round up to get whole numbers and order more or less based on your party’s needs.

A 10-inch pizza, for example, is 78 square inches, with a 12-inch pizza a comparative 113 square inches. A 14-inch pizza comes in at 153 inches, so roughly the same size as 10-inchers. All of this is worth bearing in mind when you’re ordering and working out the most cost-effective option.

A 12 inch pizza is almost twice the amount of a 9 inch pizza! A 16 inch pizza is almost two 12 inch ones! OK, for you math wizards out there, a 12 inch is 1.8 times as large as a 9 inch and a 16 inch is 1.8 times as large as a 12 inch.

The general consensus in the industry is to tip $2 to $3 per pie delivered. But also look at how much your tip is compared to the entire bill. At the minimum, you should tip 10 percent of the total bill. A tip of 16 percent of the bill is for normal service and 20 percent is for exceptional service.

Ordering for a Crowd

That’s because each slice of pizza takes up 1/8 of the pie, and adults tend to eat 3 slices per meal. If you get a fraction, just round up. It’s always better to have leftovers than to leave anyone hungry.

Why It Pays to Tip

Something you might not know about Grubhub is that drivers can actually see just how much you’re tipping—before they accept your delivery request. “If you’re only tipping something like 10 or 40 cents, there are drivers who will open that order, see it, and reject it,” Curtis says.

While a tip is technically not obligatory, not leaving a tip for the delivery person is rude. So, if you don’t want to leave a tip, order the food for pickup instead.

Common tipping etiquette for small and large orders is 15% for normal service with $3 minimum; 15%-20%+ for great service (or if you’re feeling generous); below 10% for poor service. … If it doesn’t, you should tip. Note: Unless your pizza does not show up, you should not stiff the driver.

After you’ve placed your order, please keep the browser window or the app open. Food Tracker will appear, and you’ll have the option to give a 5%, 10% or 15% tip. If you accidentally closed the window or the app, you can go to the order in your order history and tip the courier there.

Generally speaking, delivery orders that are less than $20 are given a minimum tip of $3. If the order is over $20, then it’s customary to calculate a tip that is 10%-15% of the order (but never less than $5).

Yes, Uber Eats drivers get 100% of tips. Like many in the service industry, Uber Eats drivers get to keep their tips whether customers add it to the order total on the app or give cash at the time of delivery. … If Uber Eats or the restaurant takes a cut of something, it goes under as a fee.

Uber Eats drivers can expect to net between $8 and $12 per hour. This range of compensation is paid usually after factoring in expenses of doing business, such as gas and vehicle maintenance.
