Hugh John Mungo Grant is an English actor.
Born in Hammersmith, he was educated at New College, Oxford where he studied literature and graduated with a 2.1 grade.
During his college era, Grant joined the Oxford University Dramatic Society and was Fabian in a production of Twelfth Night. In 1982, he made his big screen debut in Privileged (1982) by director Michael Hoffman.
