How long does a snapchat story last

Snapchat stories automatically delete after 24 hours, but you can also delete a Snapchat story at any time before it disappears. Keep in mind, however, that you can’t delete your entire story with one single button tap — you’ll have to go through each Snap individually and decide which to nix and which to keep.

Your Snapchat Stories Can Last More Than 24 Hours

With the addition of the Story feature in 2013, users began crafting vignettes of their daily lives and using it to create curated narratives.

Well, Snapchat stories last 24 hours in the sense that once you post the snap to your story, it will remain there for 24 hours only.

Shared Stories ?

Shared Stories can only have 1,000 Snaps at a time – once a Shared Story has more than that, the newest Snaps will replace the oldest Snaps. You can delete your Snaps from a Shared Story at any time.

Yep, you read that correctly. You’ve been able to create a Snapchat story since 2013 on the sharing site, but even those little gems would be deleted in 24 hours or less. Now, if you sign up with My Snap Memories, your stories can be saved indefinitely.

A Snapchat story stays on the app for 24 hours before it disappears. But if it takes less than 24 hours, it means something is wrong with the app. So try reinstalling the app from the app store or updating the app.

How long can pending messages on Snapchat last? 30 days. As long as the person accept your message or send within 30 days of you sending the message then your message will not be deleted.
