The attacker, DePape is a 42-year-old man who has been filed with two charges by Federal Prosecutors for breaking into Pelosi’s home and attacking the 82-year-old.
DePape entered the room on early Friday morning and smashed a back glass door with a hammer with expectations to see Ms. Pelosi. After some discussions with Mr. Pelosi, the attacker allowed him to use the bathroom where Paul contacted 911 and informed them that he was in a state of emergency.
The attacker even shouted “Where is Nancy?” as per the report. The San Francisco district attorney, Brooke Jenkins, confirmed that the attacker was targeting Nancy Pelosi when he broke into their home.
Jenkins even reported that by the time the police officers reached there, there were only two people, Mr. Pelosi, and the attacker.
The reports even mentioned that the attacker, DePape might be an illegal immigrant and might face deportation following his criminal trial.
