Six months after announcing their divorce, Rachel Stevens moved out of the home she shared with her ex-husband Alex Bourne.
The former S Club 7 singer recently shared her thoughts on the transition on Instagram and thanked her friends and followers for their support. After 12 years of marriage, Stevens, 44, and Bourne announced their divorce in July 2022.
She posted a selfie with the message, “What a week it’s been…,” in her most recent post. I’m sorry I’ve been MIA (missing in action). Having just moved in, I’m buried in boxes to my ears and experiencing a range of mixed feelings.
“I’m immensely appreciative of everyone’s love and support in my life. putting faith in the process and the power of fresh starts.
Jo O’Meara, a former bandmate of S Club 7, and podcast host Lauren Mahon offered her words of support and red heart emoticons to express their love.
Stevens sent the following statement to the public after announcing her separation from Bourne: “I just wanted to share with you all that after time and contemplation, the tough choice has been taken for Alex and me to separate.”
