How Did Naomi Judd Get Hepatitis C? Illness & More
While working as a nurse, Naomi contracted Hepatitis C after she got injured by a needlestick. She was severely affected by this illness and all of this resulted in the breaking of her band, The Judd, with her daughter.
She recovered, and The Judd has given several reunited performances all across the United States. After breaking up the band, her daughter started her solo career, and she is one of the most renowned country singers in the country.
Naomi could not have been more proud of Wynonna and her career. She was her older daughter, and her younger daughter is Ashley, who is a very successful actress. Thus, it can be said that both daughters stick to the entertainment industry like their mother.

I have something else to say about Naomi Judd- she used her very large platform to talk about two things that are highly stigmatized in our society, Hepatitis C and severe depression, I’m sure that took a toll on her, and I hope most days she knew how much people loved her pic.twitter.com/aVryKTyUPs

Was Naomi A Registered Nurse?
Naomi was a registered nurse and used to serve at Tennesse hospital, as per Lubbock, for many years. While doing that job she also looked after kids, and later, she gave up that career to be a singer.
The reason she choose to pursue her job as a nurse was because she had a genuine interest to help people in need. However, sadly, that job also resulted in her getting infected with Hepatitis C. She studied nursing at the College of Marin.
She was 18 when she gave birth to her first daughter, with who she made her music career. Naomi was married twice in her life. Initially, she was married to Michael C. Ciminella, but the marriage ended in 1972.
Later, she married Larry Strickland in 1989. Her sudden death has turned the entire music industry sad, and it can be said that she will always be remembered for her mellifluous voice.
