How Did Lauren Jauregui Become Famous?

Lauren Jauregui became famous through her participation in the second season of “The X Factor” U.S. in 2012. At the age of 15, she auditioned for the show, performing “If I Ain’t Got You” by Alicia Keys. Her voice, described by Judge Antonio Reid as “husky, round, mature,” impressed the judges, and she advanced to the next round.

Although Lauren Jauregui was initially eliminated as a solo artist, she was later brought back and placed into a group alongside Ally Brooke, Normani, Dinah Jane, and Camila Cabello.

This group, known as Fifth Harmony, went on to finish in third place on “The X Factor.” Despite not winning the competition, Fifth Harmony signed a recording contract with Simon Cowell’s label Syco Music and L.A. Reid’s Epic Records.

Fifth Harmony gained considerable fame as a girl group, releasing successful albums and singles. Lauren Jauregui’s talent as a singer contributed to the group’s success. Following her time with Fifth Harmony, she continued to build her fame as a solo artist, collaborating with other musicians and releasing her music.
