How did Ana Navarro and Al Cárdenas meet?

Al Cárdenas is an American attorney, lobbyist, and political strategist. Cárdenas is a graduate of Florida State University and the University of Florida Levin College of Law. He worked as a prosecutor in the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office before starting his own law firm.

Ana Violeta Navarro-Cárdenas is a Nicaraguan-American political strategist and commentator. She appears on various television programs and news outlets, including CNN, CNN en Español, ABC News, and Telemundo.

Ana Navarro and Al Cárdenas have known each other for many years, as they are both prominent figures and have been involved in politics for a long time.

They first worked together during Jeb Bush’s 1998 gubernatorial campaign in Florida, where Navarro served as a campaign strategist and Cárdenas was the chairman of the Florida Republican Party.

Since then, they have worked on many political campaigns and projects together, and their friendship has continued to grow. They are often seen together in political events and media appearances and are known for their close relationship despite their political differences on some issues.

Nearly 30 years later, Navarro and Cárdenas married at a picturesque waterfront ceremony in Miami Beach, attended by actress Eva Longoria, singer Gloria Estefan, Navarro’s co-anchors on The View, CNN’s Anderson Cooper and Don Lemon, and senators Mitt Romney and Bob Menendez.

But, back in 2008, the two were in opposing political trenches: Navarro was the Hispanic chair for John McCain’s presidential campaign, and Cárdenas was Romney’s Florida chairman.
