Nairobi, a mother in Eastleigh Section 3, was heartbroken when she returned home without prior notice to find her housemaid naked in the kitchen.
The 30-year-old woman had gone to her office in the morning but was arrested on the way for speeding. She works for a local telecommunications company and works there as a marketer.
Instead of going to the office, she decided to go back home. Upon arrival, she discovered something unusual. her housemaid in the kitchen completely naked, cooking. When she asked her, she said she was on her way to take her bath. But the woman saw no sign that she had any real bathing plans. After the shower there was neither a towel nor a clean piece of clothing.
She then questioned her daughter, who told her that the housemaid made her lick her private parts.
The woman revealed that she had noticed that her daughter, who is in kindergarten, did not want to get dressed after showering because her aunt – the housemaid – had been walking around the house naked all the time.
The incident illustrated why the little child suffered from bacterial infections week after week.
The woman is currently considering suing her domestic help for abusing her child. She hopes the boy hasn’t contracted any life-threatening sexually transmitted infections.
This isn’t the first of this kind of story. Cases of domestic help against children when their parents are not around have become the new normal.
Last year, a video featuring a Ugandan domestic worker who sat on a toddler went viral. In 2015, another domestic worker was caught forcing a boy she was assigned to look after to lick her private part.
Not long ago, a domestic help was caught on camera and adding her urine to her boss’s smoothie in the kitchen. The crime followed an altercation with her boss earlier in the day and she was seeking revenge.
