Philemon Lukhele is a member of ANC in Mpumalanga, he was exiled from the country in 1998, and he was working in ANC for 15 years. He also gained membership in the People’s United Democratic Movement (PUDEMO).
Lukhele was taken into custody on 6th May from his guesthouse, at present, he is waiting for his court appearance as well. Lukhele has been linked with his guesthouse, as murder had taken place in the house before the body was removed from the premise.
Similarly, Lukhele’s car and Lukhele’s guest house seem to link him with the murder, as his car was used to dump the body. The alleged killer is suspected to be on the run but the Police Commissioner stated that the suspect shall appear in court by Monday.

The authority’s investigations had led Lukhele’s guest house Ntsika to be the scene of the crime, as the crime had occurred in the house. Hillary Gardee had likely died on the premise of Ntsika house.
Similarly, the police also believe that the person responsible also took the car that belonged to Lukhele. Lukhele has not taken responsibility for the misdeed.

Lukehele has been charged with alleged murder, taken place in the place of his residence. He was also charged with the possession of property that belonged to the murderer as the car was used for the murder as well.
