Hayley Law was born on the 18th of November 1992 in Canada. Her ethnicity is Afro-Canadian while her nationality is Canadian. The actress grew up in the sleepy farming town of Surrey where she completed her elementary and high school education. Growing up, Law did not really aspire to become an actress. She wanted to become a singer but realized early on that she won’t be able to achieve her ambitions in her small town. The fearless young lady thus decided to take the bulls by the horn and moved to the bustling city of Vancouver, aged 18, in order to pursue her dreams.
Law did not have it easy on landing in Vancouver and had to work various odd jobs including as a waiter. While waiting tables, she also hired an agent in order to make headway. Her hard work paid off when she started doing commercials for companies such as MacDonald’s. Shortly after, Law landed the role of the fearless singer/songwriter, Valerie Brown on the Netflix show, Riverdale. While in the 9th grade, she applied to sing at an end of the year show being put up by her class. She released the EP under her alter ego, Hayleau. The R&B project explores issues such as love, heartbreak, and self-love.
