He has earned his wealth and fame by acting in T.V and films. Hayden became famous by acting in two Star Wars productions – “Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones”, and then again in “Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith”. Of course, he has many other wonderful productions as well to his credit.
Hayden started his acting career with the Canadian television series “Family Passions” in 1993. Since then, he has performed in several movies and television shows such as Forever Knight, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Harrison Bergeron, Goosebumps and many more. He became famous by doing a television production named “Higher Ground” in 2000. He had to lose 25 pounds to play the role in “Life as a House” the following year. Christensen was nominated for the Golden Globe Award and the SAG Awards for his role in this movie. He has also won the National Board of Review’s Award for Breakthrough Performance for the year. He has also won the MTV Movie Award for the Best Performance in a Negative Role.
He was cast for Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode II and III when director George Lucas selected him over 1500 other candidates.
Hayden Christensen is dating Rachel Bilson, an actress he has worked with in the movie “Jumper”. On 25th December 2008, they got engaged. However the couple soon separated. But they came back together again.
