Fifteen-year-old Noah Schnapp who is famous for playing Will Byers onStranger Things has come under a lot of fire for a video in which he appeared to sing the n-word to Chris Brown’s song, Freaky Friday.

Nevertheless, Noah has clarified the rumors saying he replaced the n-word with “neighbor,” and would never use that language.

This incident happened in August 2020 and has again reappeared after the American science fiction horror drama television series ‘Stranger Things season 4’ is scheduled to be released on Netflixin mid-2022.

Noah Schnapp has denied the claim of ever using N-Word and is sorry for the misunderstanding and confusion caused by his actions.

Noah originally used neighbor instead of the n-word as a replacement while singing along to “Freaky Friday” by Chris Brown and Lil’ Dicky.

Ever since the incident, the video has been circulating on social media, “#NoahSchappisOverParty” trending on Twitter and was shared more and more.

The Stranger Things actor posted a lengthy apology on Instagram Stories to clarify the incident.

Recently a video of him from last summer got out dancing and singing a song while singing the word ‘neighbor’ over the n-word, he wrote. 

Furthermore, he explained, he would truly never say the n-word and he is not the type of person. He even said he genuinely has never had racial slurs in his life.

His camp friends and he used to replace the n-word with ‘neighbor’ in that song, he added.

He is a young fellow who has immense stardom amid the success of the series ‘Stranger Things.’ He portrays the love interest of the supernatural girl Eleven.

After the video, Noah was targeted after a series of racial posts were posted on his account, along with sexually explicit comments and suicides.

He assured his fans that someone hacked into his Twitter account and that he was not the one and he is trying to get back to his account. He shared this news on August 15, on his Instagram account.

He further added that he would inform his fans when he returned from the app.

Noah Schnapp was accused of racist comments and use of the N-word as claimed by the netizens, but all the allegations have been denied.

After the incident, Noah Schnapp apologized sincerely and went on with his life. After the fame, he focused on his self-improvement and worked on his projects.

Though he is heartbroken by the fact that many people consider him a racist, he has made peace with it and moved forward.

Currently, he is working on his franchise Stranger Things season 4 which will evolve his character into a more sensible one and we get to finally see him and Millie Bobby Brown together with their love spark.
