Kevin Sinfield recently announced his new Leeds marathon next year in honor of his friend Rob Burrow. He also said to find your reason to run, and anything will be possible. 

By running 101 miles in 24 hours in support of his former teammate and MND victim, he raised £1.5 million for MND research. Later, the 41-year-old received an OBE for raising more than £2.7 million by running seven marathons in seven days.

Many have called Sinfield “Sir Kev,” mostly by Leeds Rhinos fans, so that he would be knighted following his heroic actions.

Kevin Sinfield has not been knighted, yet he has received a lower-ranking knighthood. He was honored with the British Empire’s Most Excellent Order (OBE). However, his best buddy Rob’s father, Geoff Burrow, revealed that he had been Sir for them.

Rob Burrow was also in Leeds Rhinos, who played alongside Kevin until he was diagnosed with motor neuron disease (MND). The coach for Leicester Tiger Sinfield has been helping raise funds for his mate’s illness.
