One of the most coveted awards in the NFL was given to Justin Simmons in recognition of his body of work this season.
Justin Simmons, a safety with the Denver Broncos, was unexpectedly left off the Pro Bowl ballot back in December.
Even though it was disheartening, I had a feeling that the Associated Press would make it right in January.
Indeed, the A.P. named the 2021 All-Pro team on Friday, and Simmons made the second team. He was selected for the second team because he garnered the fourth-most votes among safeties.
Has Justin Simmons been an All-Pro?
Pat Surtain II was chosen as a first-team All-Pro pick for his 2022 season, and safety Justin Simmons was named to the second team, the Associated Press reported on Friday. Only the Broncos had two secondary players selected for the AP All-Pro teams.
How many all pros does Justin Simmons have?
Simmons was named to the AP second team for the 2019 and 2021 seasons, making this his third time receiving the honor.
