Anthony David McPartlin OBE is an English television presenter, TV producer, singer, comedian, and actor who was born on November 18, 1975.
He is well recognized for his work as half of the Ant & Dec presenting duo with Declan Donnelly. McPartlin rose to prominence in the children’s drama series Byker Grove, alongside Donnelly, and the two boys went on to have successful careers as television presenters, hosting SMTV Live (from 1998 to 2001), I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway (since 2002), and Britain’s Got Talent (since 2007).
McPartlin’s first television appearance was on the children’s workshop show Why Don’t You?, but his big break came when he played PJ in the CBBC comedy, Byker Grove.
