Harry Diamond is a caddie in the PGA with a net worth of $15 million. Diamond has been working in the bag for Rory McIlroy since 2017.
Mcllory is amongst the most prominent Nike sponsored golfers in the world. He appointed Harry as his caddy six years ago, seeking a fresh start after ending his nine-year-long partnership with J.P. Fitzgerald.
Harry and McIlroy’s relationship extends far beyond that of an average golfer and his caddie. They have known each other since their junior days at Holywood Golf Club in Northern Ireland. Diamond was even McIlroy’s best man at his wedding with Erica Stoll in 2017.
Harry was a golfer in the days representing Ireland as a youngster. Moreover, he also won the West of Ireland Championship in 2012. However, he didn’t capitalize on his full potential and carried forward his professional career for different reasons.
Over a decade later, Diamond properly focuses on his role as a caddie for one of the most successful golfers.
Harry Diamond Caddie Salary Breakdown
Diamond is one of the highest-paid caddies in the world, thanks to his alliance with the world number two ranked golfer Rory McIlroy.
The yearly salaries of the caddies on the PGA Tour generally ranges from $238,000 to $502,000. Breaking it down further, they earn a base salary of $1,500 to $3,000 per tournament.

The higher the player finishes, the more prize money he earns, and obviously so do the caddys. For instance, if players break into the top 10, they will usually share 7% of the prize money with their bag partner, increasing to 10% if they win the tournament.
Although the exact salary details of Diamond has not been revealed yet about private nature of McIlroy, it is no surprise that he makes much more money than many of the lower-tier players on the PGA Tour.
Rory reportedly used to pay 10 percent of his championship earnings to Fitzgerald. Given his special relationship dating back to his junior days with Diamond, it is obvious that Rory pays him a handsome amount alongside multiple bonuses.
