Hank Cavagnaro Biography – Hank Cavagnaro Wiki

Hank Cavagnaro is an American journalist working as a reporter for KVUE News located in Austin, Texas. He became part of the KVUE team in June of 2018 and has been there ever since. Before he moved to Texas, he took two years in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, as a multi-media journalist. While there, he embraced shooting his own video and told award-winning stories. Originally, from San Diego, California, he has lived in a couple of better places, including Italy and Lawrence, Kansas. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in journalism and news and information studies and a minor in communications. While there he was associated with KU Dance Marathon, the Greek Life and Spirit Squad. He appreciates making it back to Kansas for games yet is eager to see his Jayhawks (Rock Chalk!) take on the Longhorns here in Texas.

He looks to take a different approach to the stories he tells and adds visual elements. He credits the National Press Photographers Association with the skill set he has gained and the continuation of his skills through workshops, competitions, and mentorship.
