Doug Bailey is the father of singer-songwriter Halle Bailey.
Doug is an Atlanta native. He was a stockbroker.
He is married to Courtney Singleton Bailey and together three children; Chloe Bailey, Halle Bailey and Branson Bailey.
Doug’s children Chloe and Halle Bailey are the R&B duo Chloe x Halle.
At ages 10 and eight, Doug Bailey who serves as their co-manager started teaching them how to write songs.
The sisters launched a YouTube channel at the ages of 13 and 11 respectively, with a cover of Beyoncé’s “Best Thing I Never Had”. Their rendition of Beyoncé’s Pretty Hurts caught the star’s attention in 2013.
They were then acknowledged by Beyoncé, who became their mentor and later signed them to her label, Parkwood Entertainment. Chloe x Halle then released the EP Sugar Symphony (2016) and the mixtape The Two of Us (2017).
Their debut album titled The Kids Are Alright was released in 2018 and their second studio album Ungodly Hour in 2020.
Since January 2000, his wife Courtney Bailey has served as relationship Manager and Talent Management for Chloe and Halle Bailey.
