Hailey Van Lith is a fantastic basketball player from Cashmere, Washington, who currently plays for the ACC’s Louisville Cardinals. When she was a child, her father, Corey, taught her how to play basketball.
As a freshman, Van Lith led Cashmere High School to the Class 1A state championship game, averaging 24.3 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.3 assists, and 3.8 steals per game.
In her senior year, Van Lith outscored every other scorer in Washington State history with a 46-point performance against Omak High School.
She also contributed to her team’s third Class 1A state title with averages of 32.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 4.2 steals per game.
Van Lith received numerous honors, including being named to the roster for the McDonald’s All-American Game and winning the Washington Gatorade Player of the Year title twice in a row.
Van Lith was a highly sought-after recruit and a five-star athlete according to ESPN. In the end, she decided to play basketball for Louisville rather than accept a scholarship from Baylor.
The fact that Van Lith also played softball in high school and received offers from NCAA Division I softball institutions as early as seventh grade highlights her versatility and dexterity.

The parents of Hailey Van Lith are Jessica and Corey Van Lith. Tanner is her only older brother. The University of Puget Sound was where her father played basketball and baseball. Baseball is one of Her Brother’s sports at Big Bend Community College.

Van Lith participated in her second game for the Louisville Cardinals on November 29, 2020, and helped her team overcome Eastern Kentucky with a commanding 101-58 score on the strength of her 20 points and 11 rebounds.
She displayed even more skill against Wake Forest on March 5, 2021, in the quarterfinals of the ACC tournament, contributing a season-high 24 points, five rebounds, and four steals to her team’s 65-53 victory.

Hailey Van Lith Injury
