She added that; “I love singing, so one day am driving to work and I hear this song Miana plays and I Dmed him asking what song is that and who sang it and he said Rada by Guardian Angel, I got to my office and went to Google and searched Guardian Angel and I was like I have never heard of this guy, I play that song the whole day and by the time I was going home I knew the all the words to that song. That same week I said to Maina can I meet Guardian Angel that song has touched and spoke to me as a person that your radar need to change.

It was the 13th of March when they announced the 1st Corona cases and the next week we were told we were working from home. My Birthday was coming up in May and 50 being a big number I had plans. So with Corona happening, I was like what should I do, then one day when my mum had passed on in 2016… Because he has a foundation is saw it good to come under his foundation …so I went out and ask people to collect money and also did the song which I released on my Birthday… so that is where the Journey started. It was not anything planned”

Guardian Angel’s Journey and Music

When he was nine years old and was sleeping along Kijabe Street, a man took him and tossed him into a City Council van that was parked nearby.

He fought with them in the cells of the Central Police Station for a month. It was at the Central police station that Audiphaxad decided to seek God. Having been brought up by a single mother and having been made to live on the streets due to inevitable events at home, God was his only solace.”

When he left jail, he was brought back home to his mom and their life together sprang again. He was fortunate to get sponsorship for his learning by Ahadi Children’s Home and that gave him hopes that his tomorrow would be bright. His mother also got a job that would support them, therefore life changed for the better for them.

Peter got born again at a very tender age as his mother was a very religious person. when he realized his talent in singing it was only one type of music he could compose and that’s gospel music. He can also play the keyboard and guitar.

He began composing while still in high school in 2011 and became the first Kenyan student to bag 10 awards in National High School music festivals. Subsequently, Guardian Angel worked on his solo album “living Bread” to be realized early in 2012. His songs unwaveringly rising to top the charts in the local and international scenes.
