Grimes (real name Claire Elise Boucher) is a Canadian singer, songwriter, musician, and visual artist. Grimes gained prominence with her debut album “Geidi Primes” in 2010 and followed it up with “Halfaxa” in 2011.
In 2012, she released her third album “Visions,” which received critical acclaim and landed on several year-end lists. Some of her most popular songs include “Genesis,” “Oblivion,” and “Kill V. Maim.”
Apart from her music career, Grimes has also gained attention for her unique fashion sense and artistry, with her music videos often featuring her own conceptual art and creative direction. In 2018, she made headlines for her relationship with tech billionaire Elon Musk, with whom she shares a child.
Outside of music, Grimes had a voice role in the 2020 action role-playing video game Cyberpunk 2077 and is a judge on the music competition game show Alter Ego.

Grimes had not publicly announced that she is married to Elon Musk or anyone else. They were in a relationship and have two children together.
In January 2022, Grimes said of her relationship with Musk: “I would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we’re very fluid.”
She further revealed that their second child, a daughter named Exa Dark Sideræl Musk (nicknamed Y), was born in December 2021 via surrogate.
In March 2022, following the publication of the interview (which had been delayed two months before its publication), Grimes tweeted that she and Musk had broken up again but said “he’s my best friend and the love of my life.
