Gregory William Hands is a British politician who has been the Member of Parliament (MP) for Chelsea and Fulham since 2005, previously Hammersmith and Fulham. Hands have held the position of Chairman of the Conservative Party since February 2023. After winning Hammersmith and Fulham from the Labour Party with a majority of 5,029 votes in the 2005 general election, Hands resigned from his position as councilor for the Town ward in Fulham at the local elections in 2006.
Hands were chosen as the Conservative candidate for the new Chelsea and Fulham parliamentary constituency in 2007. For the 2010 general election, his previous seat of Hammersmith and Fulham was abolished, with Hammersmith having its seat (fought by Shaun Bailey for the Conservatives) and Fulham joining Chelsea in a new seat. Hands were appointed to the Conservative front bench as a shadow Treasury minister in January 2009. In addition, he serves as the Parliamentary Chairman of Conservative Friends of Poland.
