He was born in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico on November 13, 1986 as a twin. He and his twin brother left Puerto Rico at the age of 16, without notice to their parents, and headed to New York.  In 2006, he studied Film Directing at the New York Film Academy and directed and produced a short film after leaving school.
