Hayley McQueen, a football expert and sports broadcaster, was born in Manchester on December 9, 1979. Her father is the well-known Gordon McQueen, a former Manchester United player who rose to stardom.
Tragically, her father lost his fight with dementia and died on June 15, 2023. Gordon had been bedridden in the months prior to his demise, Hayley revealed in a moving statement she made after her father’s passing. She added that her father still recognized and welcomed visits from his former teammates despite his condition.
Hayley posted on Instagram about losing her great-father, saying she was “beyond heartbroken to announce” the news. Hayley McQueen is presently engaged to her longtime partner Kirk Newmann, according to her marital status. Due to the effects of the coronavirus epidemic, their wedding had to be postponed from its initial 2020 date.
Hayley stated, “We were going to get married this summer, which is just utterly rubbish, in an interview with the Daily Record. This has already been delayed three times.
