Brianne Howey weight loss has created a concern for her fans. Howey aka Georgia in the Netflix series looks much skinnier in the second season.
Howey portrays Georgia, the 30-year-old mother to her teenage on-screen daughter Ginny, in the Netflix series Ginny and Georgia. The first season of the show aired on February 24, 2021, with Netflix releasing all 10 episodes on the same day.
The first season became a fan favorite instantly and the wait for the second season ended exactly after 678 days on January 5, 2023. The second season came with some concerns of its own, the first thing you notice in the second season is how skinny Georgia aka Brianne has become. Adding to the concern, there is no explanation for her apparent weight loss.
Ginny & Georgia also portrays one of Ginny’s friends to suffer from anorexia aka an eating disorder and does not explain anything about the condition at all, according to TV Guide, adding to the concern over the second season.
Brianne Howey Weight Loss
Brianne Howey weight loss has raised concerns for anorexia but the actress stays silent on this subject. Brianne is looking undeniably skinny this season.
Howey’s character Georgia in the Netflix hit series Ginny & Georgia looks plenty skinner in season 2 than in the first season in 2021. The actress has definitely trimmed down some excess fats from her belly and torso area.
However, she has not provided any reason behind the apparent weight loss to her fans, and not a single glamour and beauty magazine has covered the issue as well. She has also not shared any images or clips of her working out or doing even yoga on her Instagram account, Howey appears to be keeping secret from her fans and followers.
Why Does Brianne Look So Skinny?
The reason for the actress looking skinny in the second season is she seemingly has lost some weight from her torso and belly area.
But the question remains how or even why. As someone who watched Ginny and Georgia navigate their complicated lifestyle on the first season of Netflix’s comedy, suspense thriller, coming-to-age, drama series, Georgia looks different in her reappearance.
Howey’s drastic body change reason is safe with her as she has not mentioned anything on the internet. She might be trying to prepare for the upcoming summer as she loves going out to the beaches and enjoying herself with her husband and friends as seen on her Instagram posts. Brianne does not hesitate to show off her beautiful body in Bikini.
Before and After Photos
Since filming the first season of Ginny & Georgia between August 14, 2019, and December 10, 2019, Brianne has shed a few pounds.
The difference in her body structure can easily be seen in the above comparison image from 2019 and her recent image from 2022. Brianne’s before and after weight loss image shows she has trimmed her belly and torso, for good I guess.
However, the actress’s weight loss journey does not appear to be a big one. In the images, we can see that Howey has not lost a huge weight. She has not transformed into a completely different person as featured in some inspirational weight loss journey stories. Nonetheless, she has trimmed a few visible pounds off.

Unfortunately, she has not revealed the actual measurements of her waist or hips yet. Nonetheless, the Georgia actress does have a stunning body which she does not hesitate to show on her Instagram account. She does not hesitate to visit beaches with her husband to show off her bikini body.
Does Brianne Howey Look Like Julia Roberts?
Brianne Howey and Julia Roberts look alike. Thousands of fans are asking the same question according to Heart.
As Howey climbed to fame with her appearance as the lead character in Ginny and Georgia, more and more fans wonder if she is related to the actress.
However, that does not seem to be the case. Although Brianne and Roberts look awfully alike, they are not related. Trust me, when I say they look astonishingly alike or you can confirm for yourself by looking at the image below.
Howey’s doppelganger Julia (or the other way around) is a famous American actress best known for her appearance in Pretty Woman, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Charlie Wilson’s War, Money Monster, and Valentine’s Day among others.
While the two have a vast age difference of 23 years, (now they seem more like mother-daughter), one can imagine what Roberts looked like in her 30s after looking at Brianne.
