The Sozahdah family has Afghani and Egyptian heritage. The Sozahdah sisters grew up in the US after moving there in the 80s.

The elder of the Sozahdah sisters were born in Afghanistan but moved to the US with their parents when they fled the Russian invasion.

After moving to the US, the sisters were raised with conservative values. Their father, unfortunately, passed away in 1999, leaving the responsibility of 10 daughters to their mother.

Jamila talked about her father’s demise in an Instagram post on March 9, 2019. She mentioned that her dad passed away in a tragic death when she was only 12 years old. While none of the siblings has disclosed what their parents did for a living, a photo shared by Halimah on Memorial Day suggested that her father had a military background.

Shaista is the eldest of the 10 Sozahdah siblings. She has been working in the food industry for over 20 years. 

Shaista is a restaurateur with expertise in Afghani and Pakistani food. She is also a mother figure to her younger sisters and acts as the guardian of the family.

Halimah is a county ombudsman for the County of Riverside, California. Her job responsibilities include investigating complaints filed by citizens against businesses.

Sozahdah, also known as Halimah Shenghur Sozahdah, was born in September 1976; she is 46 years old at the time of this writing.

Halimah started working at her current place of employment in September 2022. Before that, she worked as an urban/regional planner for Riverside County.

Moreover, Sozahdah is known to get involved in humanitarian and political activities. She has taken care of US Army Veterans and even supported former Riverside County Sheriff Stan Sniff during his 2018 campaign. Unfortunately, Stan lost the election to current Sheriff Chad Bianco.

According to a 2012 report by The Press Enterprise, Halimah was engaged to a police detective named Al Lobo. However, it remains unclear if the two are still together or not.

Shakur Sozahdah is an American model turned actress. She is known for her roles in movies and TV shows like November Rule, The Bear, and Shaft.

Likewise, she has also been a part of short movies like Two Times a Loser, V-Jay Jay Tales, and Los Blancos. In recent years, Sozahdah has also emerged as a social media influencer with over 124k followers on Instagram.

Shakur was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 8, 1985. She is currently 37 years old.

Shakur is also a former friend and babysitter for Nia Guzman, Chris Brown’s baby mother. The two got involved in a feud in 2017 after Nia accused Sozahdah of blackmailing her.

Nia even filed a restraining order against her. In response, Shakur called Nia a bad mother and said that she was willing to testify on behalf of Chris Brown.

Siddiqa is a registered nurse who primarily works in ER and OR. She currently works at a fitness company called AntiAgincy Inc.

A graduate of New York University, Siddiqa was born in Cairo, Egypt. She is 35 years old as of 2023.

Siddiqa was in a relationship with an actor named Gerard Boeke in 2019. In the same year, the couple moved in together. However, by January 2020, Sozahdah had moved out of her boyfriend’s residence.

Gerard later filed a lawsuit accusing Siddiqa of stealing properties worth over $31 thousand which included 30 pairs of Nike shoes, several paintings, and electrical items. While Sozahdah initially tried to claim that the movers accidentally took the items to her storage unit, two neighbors of Boeke allegedly saw her loading the items in her car.

Boeke eventually withdraw his lawsuit on the grounds of hefty traveling expenses incurred during his trips from Florida to LA. In response, Siddiqa filed a motion to destroy her arrest record claiming she was factually innocent. However, the judge presiding over the case rejected the plea.

Jamila is an American entrepreneur, humanitarian, and physician assistant. She is the co-founder and CEO of Drip Doctors, an IV Vitamin Therapy & Regenerative Center.

Sozahadah established the company with four sisters: Siddiqa, Nooreya, Hamida, and Shakura. Before that, Jamila worked as a Physician Assistant for California Emergency Physicians from December 2011 to February 2014.

Sozahdah earned her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of California, Riverside, in 2005. She went to the Western University of Health Sciences for her Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant.

Jamila is the same person who injected former soccer player Samir Nasri with 500 ml of sterile water with micronutrient components, almost ending his soccer career. While the substance is not banned, the consumed amount was ten times more than what is allowed by the World Anti-Doping Code.

Samir was banned for 18 months and eventually played for West Ham. However, he could never recover to his old form and was later released by the team in 2020.

Khadija Sozahdah is a cast of the upcoming Hulu show, Secrets and Sisterhood: The Sozahdah.

According to People, Khadija is a mother with at least two kids. She takes care of her children and is usually seen cheering for them at their sports games.

Besides that, not much is revealed about her, including her job and husband’s details. Khadija generally keeps a low-key profile; she is also not on social media.

Nooreya works as the Director of Operations for an investment firm named Benevolent Capital. She has working in the company since December 2020.

Previously, Sozahdah was the Chief Marketing Officer for Drip Theory from June 2019 to April 2020. She was also the Director of Marketing at Drip Doctors from December 2017 to May 2019.

Nooreya attended the University of California, Riverside, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in 2009.

Rabya was previously married to a man named Rami Salhieh. However, the two separated in 2015 and Sozahdah eventually filed for divorce in 2017.

The divorce was finalized by Riverside County Superior Courts on December 12, 2017.

Hamida is a Clinical Counselor based in Glendale, California. She works as a Behavioral Health Specialist for 21st Century Health Service.

Before that, she was a Behavior Health Consultant at Drip Doctors Inc from February 2015 to December 2016.

Hamida was born on March 20, 1991; she is currently 32 years old. She is the youngest of ten siblings.

Sozahdah has a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Cumberlands. Earlier, she attended American Public University for her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology.

The show revolves around how the sisters balance their faith, family life, and jobs in Los Angeles. From the trailer, it is evident that the series follows the idea of an act done with good intentions that goes horribly wrong.

The trailer hints that the sisters are keeping secrets from each other. And, if the secrets get out, it could destroy the Sozahdah household.
