There are some people who have been at the forefront of the legalization of gay rights worldwide despite the stiff opposition in some parts of the world; George Montague is one of such individuals.
He died on Friday, March 17, 2022, at the age of 98 after spending many years joining several demonstrations and protests in solidarity with the Gays. George was born in 1923, he married a woman with whom he had children and later walked out of the marriage to do what he believes was created for.
Mr. Montague bought a home in Brighton in the early 2000s, after first visiting in the 1950s to explore the gay scene.
