Up to 30,000 nurses and up to 11,500 ambulance workers began walking out on Monday at more than 70 trusts around England.
It was the largest walkout in the NHS’s 75-year history.

Gemma tweeted a photo of herself attached to wires and commented, “Thank you to all the lovely folks that assisted me this evening,” without elaborating on the nature of the health concern.
