In February, Clara’s mother arrived in Paraguay with her current husband and Filip Blank. They have launched their search in Paraguay, but have so far been unsuccessful.
Meanwhile, legal and criminal actions have begun in both nations, including an extradition request for Andreas Rainer Egler and Anna Mara Egler, who, according to the CDIA, is wanted in Germany “for the punishable conduct of kidnapping of persons.” According to police officials during the news conference, Paraguay authorities have also issued a “red alert” for their arrest.
