Richard Peery Net Worth: Richard Peery is an American entrepreneur who has a net worth of $2.2 billion. A renowned Silicon Valley real estate developer today, Richard “Dick” Peery made his wealth in real estate. He accumulated his initial riches when he teamed up with John Arrillaga to turn orange groves, which the two bought in the 1960s, into office parks for the flourishing tech industry. It was in 2006 that Peery and Arrillaga sold a big area of buildings for $1.1 billion, but they still kept a minor portion for themselves. Google is one of their major leaseholders, occupying a total rent area of 15 of Peery Arrillaga’s buildings. As for their most recent project, the duo is reportedly working on the construction of a new building that will be leased by LinkedIn. An avid philanthropist as he is, Richard also started a foundation called The Peery Foundation that is run by his son Dave. The foundation mainly supports social entrepreneurs and organizations that address poverty. However, the family also backs several education and children-related initiatives, among which are the Palo Alto High School athletic facility and the Palo Alto Junior Museum and Zoo.
