Freddie Stroma (birth name: Frederic Wilhelm C. J. Sjöström) is an actor and model from Britain. He is known for his role as Cormac McLaggen in the Harry Potter film series and as Luke in the musical comedy film A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song (2011).

Stroma began training to be an actor when he joined the National Youth Theatre of Great Britain and Northern Ireland at the age of 16. He earned several roles on British TV shows like Casualty and Mayo (aka The Gil Mayo Mysteries), a BBC’s detective show.

He went to the University College London where he studied Neuro science at the Faculty of Brain Sciences. This was concurrently happening while he was still working hence he took a break of one year from his studies to prepare and play the role of Cormac McLaggen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
After filming Harry Potter, he went bacl and graduated in 2009 with a 2:1 Bachelor of Science (BSc) (an upper-second-class degree) in Neuroscience.
Post his university education, Freddie also appeared in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Parts 1 and 2. and later in the crime film 4.3.2.1. as Cool Brett.
