Fran Kirby grew up in Reading, Berkshire, with her parents. Denise Kirby and Steve Kirby are her mom and dad. She also has a brother, Jamie, in the family.
Jamie influenced her to play football. Despite the game being very male-dominated, Fran’s mom always supported her. She wrote a birthday card that Fran would play in the FIFA World Cup one day.
Sadly, Denise passed away due to a brain hemorrhage when Fran was just 14 years of age. Years later, she has now played in the WC. She shared the emotional birthday card on Instagram in May 2021.
