Bob Poynter was a firefighter murdered by his wife, Chacey Poynter.
Bob, aka Robert, was found dead in the jeep passenger seat that his wife was driving. His wife, Chacey, called 911 and told them that someone in the dark had shot her husband.
The investigators came to the site where Bob was shot, they found something off from the story of his wife, and during the investigation, they found that the story was not true and twisted in favor of his wife.

Bob Poynter was a veteran firefighter who was murdered; he used to work as the University Park Fire Department captain.
He used to live with his wife Chasey in Royse City, Texas, but before his death, his marriage with his wife was on the verge of a fallout.
On the night Robert was murdered, he was in the Jeep with his wife, Chasey, on the isolated Hunt County road. He was 47 years old during his death.
When the firefighter was shot on September 9, 2016, in his head, his wife called the emergency number and told him about someone shooting her husband and running away from the scene.
Chasey said that his husband was helping her to take the stuck Jeep out of the mud when the incident occurred. Police began their investigation by going through a medical report and found the cause of his death was shot in his head.

Bob Poynter Wife Chacey Killed Her Own Husband Robert
Wife Chacey Poynter was initially seen as not involved in the murder case of her husband, Robert or Bob Poynter.
But later on during the investigation, police found that her story was not so convincing, and there were too many loopholes.
Chacey and Rober had been married since 2009, but they were going to divorce each other. The night Robert was killed, Chacey called Robert to discuss their marriage and sort things out.
Police saw some clues regarding this murder case when they went through the phone of Robert’s wife, Chacey. They found out Chacey was having extramarital affairs, and there were more the 1,100 text messages that she had sent to her lovers.
She has sent around 140 text messages a day to her lovers. One of the text messages to one of the lovers’ Michael Garza, caught the attention of the police.
Chacey had sent a message stating she couldn’t love Michael unless Robert were out of the picture. It was found that she was the one who had a significant hand in planning the assassination.

Robert Poynter, aka Bob’s Wife, Chacey, and his lover Michael have been found guilty in the murder case of Robert.
Chacey went through trial and manipulated her lovers to kill her husband, and only one of her lovers, Michael Garza, agreed to do the deed.
She wanted to claim Robert’s $680,000 life insurance, and since their marriage was going to break soon, she took the step to kill her husband.
Chacey was found guilty of the murder after two weeks of trial, and she got life imprisonment without the possibility of parole as her punishment.
She is currently in the Texas prison system’s Christina Melton Crain Unit, while her lover, Michael, was also punished by imprisonment for 99 years and is in Barry Telford Unit.
