Fetty Wap was born on the 7th June 1991 in Paterson, New Jersey USA, at birth he was diagnosed with Glaucoma in both eyes. As per the doctors, they managed to save his right eye, while in his left eye they fitted an ocular prosthesis.
However, the new jersey rapper only has one eye, his right eye which is a physical characteristic that has proved fan’s curiosity.
According to the research, it comes to know that, the diseases Congenital Glaucoma, is a rare condition that may be inherited, caused by incorrect development of the eye’s drainage system before birth.

During an interview with DJ Self on Shade 45, Fetty revealed he had lost his left eye following an accident with serious after-effects not due to being shot as some rumors claimed.
He said, “When I was little, I had gotten into a little accident and it gave me congenital glaucoma in both of my eyes.” In other words, he suffers a condition that affects and damages the optic nerve due to a build-up pressure.
