He started skating when he was seven years old. By the time he was a teenager, Felipe had started winning the local contests. When he was 16 years, Felipe’s Dad sold the family car so he could chase his dreams and make the trip to Tampa Am in 2007.

At first, he was not allowed access to skate the event. He later entered and emerged winner as an unknown Am which landed him some big sponsors. In 2010, he played a huge part in Digital’s FYI video proceeded by a part in Plan B’s vAMdalism.
