He served as the patron of Dance World, a community dance facility that provides opportunities and scholarships to young people in the area.
As a key figure in the founding of both organizations, Maguire served as chairman of Open Family and was active in Emerald Hill Mission.
Maguire claimed that the funeral he presided over for Victor Peirce was the most significant one he had ever officiated.
Father Bob Maguire Cause Of Death
His cause of death was not known, though he has been sick for some time. After losing sensation in his hands and fingers, followed by his legs, he was eventually given a diagnosis of chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy.
