Fans Call For Blake Lively To Replace Amber Heard In Aquaman 2, Here is Who Else Is Contending For The Role

Fans believe Blake Lively would be a perfect replacement for Amber Heard in Aquaman 2 as Queen Mera. 

Aquaman 2 fans claim Blake Lively is the perfect replacement for Amber Heard as the Mera, as the movie will release in 2023. However, Warner Bros has tried to push Heard to reprise her role. Thus there is a rumor many might turn back on the movie. 

Nevertheless, Amber Heard spoke in court on May 16, stating that her role got cut down from the movie Aquaman 2 following the fight against her ex-husband Jhonny Depp. She said that she had fought hard to stay in the film, and they wanted to include it in the movie. 

Many Believe Blake Lively Should Replace Amber Heard In Aquaman 2

Fans of an upcoming Aquaman sequel say the perfect replacement for Amber Heard’s role is Blake Lively. Many believe Lively can be an ideal replacement, but other actresses’ names also popped up. 

After Jhonny Depp got fired from his upcoming movie Fantastic Beast following his wife’s charges, the Aquaman 2 sequel and Depp fans also expected a similar move by the Warner Bros. People came up with many names for her replacement, including Blake. 

Nevertheless, people said she should also not be in Aquaman, but as they stuck with one of their lead actresses, they received many negative comments and media backlashes. 

Fans still want her to be removed from the film. 

But Will Blake Lively Be Able To Get The Role? Question Remains, Is It Going To Happen?

As Amber spoke to the court on May 16 regarding her role in Aquaman 2 sequel, it does not seems Blake Lively might be able to get the part of Queen Meera. The actress from the first sequel revealed her many roles were removed. But fans were expecting they would fire her. 

After such immense backlashes from the fans, Warner Bros might have feared their 2023 release Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom might not be able to retaliate to the hate and ignorance from viewers.

However, Jhonny Depp’s followers and many are still not satisfied, although her role has been cut off. Thus, many fans think Blake Lively can portray the role of Queen Mera in the movie.

Fans of the Aquaman sequel want Blake Lively to consider the role of Queen Mera. However, no cast from the movie seems to be changing from the 2023 releasing film. As Warner Bros are neglecting their fan’s call, they might have to face backlash in the cinemas. 

Furthermore, no cast from the movie has commented on what fans have to say. Likewise, cutting off some roles of Amber might not be enough for some people who will still criticize it.
