Victor Oquendo is an American journalist who is currently working as a Miami correspondent at ABC news.
On March 18, 1987, he was born in Miami to his parents, Teresa Rodriguez and Tony Oquendo. His mother is a 15-times Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist, while his father was an executive for Univision, who died in 2008.
Victor graduated from the University of Miami in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. The same year, he was featured as one of the People en Espanol magazine’s most beautiful people.
Marking the beginning of his career with an intern at CBS News, he went on to work at Wplg Channel 10 before joining ABC News as its Miami correspondent in July 2017.
