When his father would get irritated with him, he would “open all the cupboard doors to annoy” Regan because, having OCD himself, he knew that Regan would have to go around shutting them.
Although Regan is close with his father now, it wasn’t always like this. After a series of arguments with his now ex-wife Sheryl, Paul decided that would damage the relationship between father and son for quite some time.
After his father left Regan and his family when he was a baby, Regan had a hard time forgiving his father. In 2013, Regan had gone as far as to say that he wanted him out of the picture during a 2013 documentary.
