Jillian Nguyen Parens And Family- Who Are They?
Jillian Nguyen is the daughter of Malaysian parents with a mother coming from Chinese heritage.
When she told them about her dreams of becoming an actress, they did not take the news well. It took her a lead role opposing Hugo Weaving in Loveland to finally get them ecstatic about her career.
They spotted her on the cover of a Vietnamese magazine and boasted about her success with their friends. Growing up, her mother used to say that the movie industry was unkind to people of Asian descent, trying to squash her hopes before they manifested into obsession.
Her word was somewhat authentic as she was the first Australian Asian actor to perform in a lead role.
