Josh Hartnett is an American actor whose career spans two decades. Her first leading role was in the 1997 television series, Salty Cookie. He appeared in The Faculty (1998), Pearl Harbor and Lucky Number Slevin (2006) among others.
Besides being an actor, Hartnett is also an activist. He has lent his support to Global Cool’s green lifestyle campaign, and in 2012 Hartnett also joined Barack Obama’s campaign in Minnesota. He has won several awards, including the Acting Award from the International Academy of Arts of Ischia, the Best Environmentalist Award from 21st Century Leaders and many others.
Josh Hartnett was born on July 21, 1978 in Minnesota in the family of Thomas Hartnett and Wendy Anne. He was raised in a Catholic home and has two brothers and a sister.
