LaKevia Jackson is the mother of rapper Young Thug’s many children.
Reportedly, she died on Thursday night, 17 March 2022, at Metro Fun Center, an entertainment venue along Metropolitan Parkway located in southwest Atlanta. The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office identified her.
The Atlanta police received a call about the incident at around 11 p.m. Homicide Commander Lt. Ralph Woolfolk stated that an escalated argument over a bowling ball resulted in the death of the 31-year-old.
The only male suspect in the case shot and killed LaKevia. The officers warned the unnamed individual to turn himself in as they have surveillance video of the event, ballistic evidence, and multiple witnesses.
Reportedly, the female was attending the birthday party of her best friend. While exiting the venue, an armed person, lying in wait, gunned her to death.
According to her mother, Sherina Jackson, LaKevia was crying and screaming over the phone. After a few moments, her friend said she stopped breathing.
Not much detail is on the internet about her. On Instagram, the Neighborhood Talk firstly confirmed her identity as the mother of at least one of Young Thug’s six children.
Thugger’s relationship with four women resulted in three daughters and three sons.
However, it remains unknown how many kids LaKevia had with the rapper. Likewise, the hip-hop artist is yet to comment on the situation.
