John Easterling is the husband of the recently deceased British-Australian actress, singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and activist Olivia Newton-John.
Newton-John had had breast cancer on and off since 1992. It was thought that she’d beaten the disease back then, but it returned in 2013, where it was thought that she’d defeated it again, but it recurred even deadlier in 2013, where cancer had spread to her bones and progressed to stage IV.
Unfortunately, she succumbed to the disease on August 8, 2022, and died aged 73 in her California home.

After graduation, Easterling joined the Peace Corps but left soon after to travel to South America, where he found himself trading in rare minerals and stones. In 1980, Easterling nearly died from hepatitis but survived; however, the illness had left him weak.
A decade later, Easterling found himself weak and ill while riding a motor canoe along a stream. He turned back and managed to reach a small village, where he collapsed.
He stayed in the village for three days as they nursed him back to health by serving him special herbal tea. This experience led him to realize the true significance of herbs and start his company.
