Henry de Bromhead had three children: twins Jack and Mia, as well as Georgia, his youngest daughter.
His son Jack was a promising jockey who rode a winner at the Cahersiveen Races last weekend. RTE Racing recently interviewed the teenager. The announcement was a “devastating tragedy,” as per pundit Kevin Blake.
Moreover, he would ride for his father at his incredibly prosperous yard in Knockeen, County Waterford, which featured some of racing’s best names, notably unbeaten Champion Hurdle winner Honey Bee, Cheltenham Gold Cup winner A Plus Tard, and Grand National champion Minella Times.
After the event, tributes for the young jockey have been flooding in from the horse racing community.
Yesterday evening at around 5:20 pm, a horrible accident took place at the well-known Glenbeigh Racing Festival on Rossbeigh Strand.
It is believed that Jack, who was only 13 years old, died from wounds sustained when he fell from his horse while competing. Despite receiving care on the spot, he was later declared dead.
Furthermore, it’s thought that the jockey fell off of his horse as the animals were turning close to the water’s edge.
Henry de Bromhead Wife Heather de Bromhead
Heather de Bromhead, Henry de Bromhead’s wife, holds the position of director of her husband’s horse racing organization. She is an Irish woman who has a loving marriage to Henry.
Heather supports her husband and goes above and beyond to help him. She and her husband reside in Knockeen, County Watford.
Additionally, Heather avoids getting involved in the day-to-day details of the horses. She does, however, frequently spend time with her husband and observes things that he does not.
She must be dealing with the grief and sadness of losing her kid as a mother. We pray that the family may find the strength they need to get through the pain they are experiencing.
