Pale Blue Eyes is a musical trio consisting of Lucy Board, Matt Board, and Aubrey Simpson. The band released their first album, Souvenirs, on September 2, 2022, with the help of their record label, Full Time Hobby.
The band produces modernist pop music. They have scheduled their UK tour dates for September and October with the help of Public Service Broadcasting and are performing in UK festivals throughout the summer.
The band debuted in 2021 with their first single Motionless/Chelsea. They have their Penquit Mill studio; the trio has worked hard to own a studio by working odd jobs.
They wanted to own a studio as their dream was to produce and develop songs at their own pace, which wouldn’t have been possible with rented studios. When they were younger, they recorded in makeshift DIY in Plymouth and Sheffield.

The band has worked hard for their music, and to develop the songs at their own pace, they opened their studio. The band members took out a bank loan for the studio’s establishment and worked at any place that provided a wage.
They worked in places like greenhouses and cinemas, a soup factory, running bars at disturbing corporate events, music festivals, and as a tree surgeon’s assistant. They were successful and were able to continue and follow their dreams.

During their Zoom interview with The Quiet Us, they stated that they had to spend huge amounts of money in studios for three days, and they realized that three is less time to record an EP.
To fund their debut, they approached companies like GroCycle and New Lion Brewery; they supported the band with funds for their release. They recruited Lucy’s friend to mix and master their first record.
Their Instagram posts showed they were opening a gig for The Besnard Lakes. They also have their own UK tour coming up for September and October.
