Tennis Career and Other Interests

She started playing tennis at a young age, and turned professional in her youth. However, once she became pregnant with her first child, Eve decided to cease her tennis career. She started volunteering across California supporting numerous organizations.

As her child grew up, she joined the school’s PTA, and with the birth of their second child, she completely focused on raising them and supporting her husband.

Eve and Adam met for the first time at a tennis court in Marina del Rey in 1990; they’re of different religions, but that didn’t affect their romance – their friends often joked about the significance of their names, and that they should name their children Cain and Abel.

The couple married on the 19th of February 1995 and welcomed the first child in July 1998, daughter Alexa Marion. The couple welcomed their second child, son Elijah Harris in July 2002.

Eve Schiff Husband, Adam Schiff

Born Adam Bennett Schiff on the 22nd June 1960, in Framingham, Massachusetts USA to Edward Schiff and his wife Sherrill Ann (nee Glovsky), he was brought up in a Jewish household. The family moved to Scottsdale, Arizona when he was 10 years old, then two years later to Alamo, California.

He went to Danville’s Monte Vista High School, from which he matriculated in 1978, after which he enrolled at Stanford University, from which he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science. He furthered his studies at Harvard Law School, from which he obtained a Juris Doctor in 1985.

Career Before Politics

Before Adam entered politics he pursued a career as an attorney; his first job was as a law clerk for Judge William Matthew Byrne Jr. of the US District Court for the Central District California.

After this, he became an Assistant US Attorney in the Office of the Central District from 1987 until 1993. While serving as an assistant, Adam came to limelight for working on the trial of Richard Miller, a former FBI agent accused of spying for the Soviet Union.

Politics

Adam made his first attempt at entry into the California State Assembly in 1994, when he was a candidate for the 43rd district seat, but was beaten by Republican nominee James E. Rogan. However, two years later, Schiff was elected to the 21st district of the California State Senate – at 36 years old he was the youngest member in the Senate.

He remained for four years, and served as chairman of the senate’s Judiciary Committee and Select Committee on Juvenile Justice, and was chairman of the state legislature’s Joint Committee on the Arts.

In 2000 he was voted into the US House of Representatives for California’s 27th congressional district, defeating his old opponent James E. Rogan. Since then, he has been re-elected every two years, and his 10th term began in January 2019. He became the Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee, a position in which he served from January 2015 until January of 2019, and then assumed the position as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee.

Impeachment against Donald Trump

Once he assumed the position, Adam became one of the lead investigators in the impeachment inquiry against Donald Trump. On the 15th January 2020, Schiff became the lead impeachment manager, nominated by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. With seven other House members, Adam was in charge of presenting the case of Trump’s impeachment to the United States Senate. The impeachment was successful, and Trump became only the third President of the US to be impeached.

What Is Mick Taylor’s Net Worth?Mick Taylor is an English guitarist who has a net worth of $300 thousand. Mick Taylor is best known for being a member of the Rolling Stones from 1969 to 1974, and he was in the band John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers in the late ’60s. In 2009, Mick announced he was nearly broke, and “The Guardian” reported that he was going to pursue legal action against his former bandmates. Taylor claimed that the Rolling Stones had withheld millions of dollars worth of royalties that he earned over the last 20 years, but a week after “The Guardian” article, he denied that he was planning to file a lawsuit. With the Rolling Stones, Mick has released the studio albums “Let It Bleed” (1969), “Sticky Fingers” (1971), “Exile on Main St.” (1972), “Goats Head Soup” (1973) and “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll” (1974) and the live album “Get Yer Ya-Ya’s Out!: The Rolling Stones in Concert” (1970). Taylor’s contribution to the band’s sound during that time is considered by many to be the most important period of musical growth for the group. Since leaving the band, Mick has appeared as a guest artist at many of their concerts and has recorded additional tracks with them over the years.Taylor has released the solo albums “Mick Taylor” (1979) and “A Stone’s Throw” (1998), and he has collaborated on albums with Bob Dylan, Jack Bruce, and Carla Olson. In 1989, he was inducted into the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame with his former Rolling Stones bandmates.Early LifeMick Taylor was born Michael Kevin Taylor on January 17, 1949, in Welwyn Garden City, England. He grew up in a working-class family in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England, and his father was a fitter for the aircraft company De Havilland. When Mick was 9 years old, his uncle taught him to play guitar, and as a teenager, he formed bands such as the Strangers and The Juniors with his classmates. Taylor and some of his bandmates were recruited for the band The Gods, and they opened for Cream at a 1966 concert at Wembley’s Starlite Ballroom. At the age of 16, Mick went to a John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers show at Welwyn Garden City’s “The Hop” Woodhall Community Centre, and when it became clear that the lead guitarist, Eric Clapton, wasn’t going to show up, Taylor asked Mayall if he could fill in for Clapton. John agreed, and impressed by Mick’s performance, Mayall asked Taylor to replace Peter Green after Green left the band to form Fleetwood Mac. Mick recorded the albums “Crusade” (1967) and “Bare Wires” (1968) with John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers, and he also appeared on Mayall’s 1968 solo album “Blues from Laurel Canyon.” The Bluesbreakers disbanded in May 1968.Rolling Stones After Brian Jones left the Rolling Stones in mid-1969, Taylor was recommended to Mick Jagger by John Mayall and Ian Stewart. His debut with the band took place at Hyde Park, London, a free concert that ended up being a tribute to Jones, who had drowned two days earlier.Mick’s first album with the band was 1969’s “Let It Bleed,” which reached #1 in the U.K., France, and the Netherlands and was certified 2× Platinum in the U.S. and Platinum in the U.K. and Canada. The 1971 album “Sticky Fingers” topped the charts in 11 countries and went 3× Platinum in the U.S. “Sticky Fingers” featured the singles “Brown Sugar” and “Wild Horses,” and “Brown Sugar” reached #1 on the charts in four countries.Taylor also performed on 1972’s “Exile on Main St.,” 1973’s “Goats Head Soup,” and 1974’s “It’s Only Rock ‘n Roll,” which all reached #1 on the ‘Billboard ” 200 chart and were certified Platinum or higher in the U.S.In late 1974, Mick left the Rolling Stones, and in an interview with Gary James, he stated:”I was a bit peeved about not getting credit for a couple of songs, but that wasn’t the whole reason. I guess I just felt like I had enough. I decided to leave and start a group with Jack Bruce. I never really felt, and I don’t know why, but I never felt I was gonna stay with the Stones forever, even right from the beginning.”Taylor has collaborated with his former bandmates many times, and he performed with them as a guest during a few 2012 concerts and toured with them in 2013.After The Rolling StonesMick played with Jack Bruce after leaving the Rolling Stones, and the album “Live on the Old Grey Whistle Test” was released in 1995, followed by “Live at the Manchester Free Trade Hall” in 2003. He signed a solo recording contract with Columbia Records in 1977, and his self-titled debut was released in 1979 and reached #119 on the “Billboard” 200 chart. Taylor also released the 1998 solo album “A Stone’s Throw” and the live albums “Stranger in This Town” (1990), “Arthur’s Club-Geneve” (1995), “Coastin’ Home” (1995), “14 Below” (2003), and “Little Red Rooster” (2007). He embarked on a reunion tour with John Mayall in 1982 and met Bob Dylan backstage at a show in Los Angeles.Mick later performed on the Dylan albums “Infidels” (1983), “Real Live” (1984), “Empire Burlesque” (1985), “The Bootleg Series Volumes 1–3 (Rare & Unreleased) 1961–1991” (1991), and “The Bootleg Series Vol. 16: Springtime in New York 1980–1985” (2021). Taylor performed on the Joan Jett & the Blackhearts single “I Hate Myself for Loving You” (1988), which reached #8 on the “Billboard” Hot 100 chart, and in the early ’90s, he began collaborating with Carla Olson. Mick performed on Olson’s albums “Too Hot For Snakes” (1991), “Within An Ace” (1993), “Reap The Whirlwind” (1994), and “The Ring of Truth” (2001). Taylor toured the U.K. with Mayall and the Bluesbreakers in 2004, and in 2007, he played several U.S. concerts with the Experience Hendrix group, which also included Buddy Guy, Robby Krieger, Billy Cox, Hubert Sumlin, and Mitch Mitchell.Personal LifeMick welcomed a daughter, Chloe, with his then-wife Rose Millar in January 1971. He also has a daughter named Emma (born 1998) from a brief relationship with Susan McMinamin, an American woman who sang back-up with his band. When Susan was pregnant with Emma, she met musician Hans McMinamin, and the two got married and raised Emma together in Florida. Susan and Emma performed a duet on Susan’s 2007 album “Another Place in Time,” and Mick played slide guitar on the album. Taylor spent just over a month in rehab before reuniting with the Rolling Stones in 2012, and he told “Mojo” magazine, “I’d never done rehab properly in my life. It’s a life-changing experience… But it can only really help you when you are ready to help yourself… I can only say that playing with them for 11 minutes each night completely re-energised me as a human being and as a performer.”Awards and HonorsWhile Taylor was with the Rolling Stones, the band won “NME” Awards for British Rhythm and Blues in 1964 and Best R&B Group in 1966, 1967, and 1968, and “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” was named Best New Disc of the Year in 1965. In 1998, Mick was inducted into the Guitar Center RockWalk in Hollywood, and his handprints were immortalized in the sidewalk on Sunset Boulevard. In 2011, “Rolling Stone” magazine ranked Taylor #37 on its “100 Greatest Guitarists” list.
