Everything Coming To Showtime July 2023

Goliath, Aftersun, and Emily are coming to Showtime in July 2023. Meanwhile, shows like 20th Century Women and Annihilation are leaving Starz.

Starting June 27, 2023, Showtime is officially part of Paramount+. The major media move is to integrate their offerings to reduce churn and boost engagement.

Now, the content from both services is available under a single subscription plan. The combined streaming service is named Paramount+ with Showtime.

The move comes just a month after Warner Bros. Discovery included Discovery+ streaming content to HBO Max and renamed to just Max, with Discovery+ remaining a standalone service.

The integration decision was based on figures showing users of the current Paramount+/Showtime bundle view 40% more titles than subscribers with the standalone Paramount+ plan.

Moreover, they spent around 20% more time on Paramount+.

Currently, there are only two plans: the Paramount+ Essential plan and Paramount+ with Showtime.

Both tiers feature Paramount originals, franchises, movies, and series across CBS, BET, Nickelodeon, Paramount Pictures, MTV, Comedy Central, and the Smithsonian Channel.

Sports offerings include annual soccer matches anchored by the UEFA Champions League and NFL on CBS.

Is Showtime Included With Paramount Plus?

Yes, Showtime is included with Paramount Plus, starting June 27, 2023. As part of the merger, Showtime is completely integrated with Paramount+.

Now, Paramount+ serves as the new streaming home for all the Showtime content. The newest plan mixes Showtime’s edgy titles into the Paramount+ library at competitive price offerings.

The merger plans were first announced in January, with both platforms gearing up for a smooth transition of both streaming and linear services.

Rebranded as Paramount+ with Showtime, the platform also released a peek into its new lineup with a new trailer featuring the impressive titles of award-winning series such as Yellowjackets.

More content in the lineup ranges from series like Your Honor, George & Tammy, and Dexter to movies such as Everything Everywhere All At Once and Top Gun: Maverick, among others.

The merger aims to seamlessly blend the experience of the best movies and shows coming from both platforms at the best price.

“By adopting the boundary-pushing programming of Showtime onto our platform, Paramount+ has fortified itself as the ultimate total household destination in streaming,” said CEO Tom Ryan.

“Showtime is synonymous with provocative, edgy, and sophisticated series that perfectly complement the blockbuster, mass-appealing original shows, movies, and live sports that Paramount+ delivers,” said Chris McCarthy.

The company says the move to fully integrate Showtime into Paramount+ was “founded in consumer insights and data.”

The two services were previously available in a bundles offering which has been now discontinued. However, the new plans make it easier to get Showtime and Paramount+ together.

Paramount Plus With Showtime Prices And Packages

Paramount Plus has whittled its four subscription plans down to two, including one that bundles Showtime. Paramount+ with Showtime costs $11.99 plus applicable taxes per month.

Previously, there were four Paramount+ plans, including the ad-free Paramount+ Premium for $9.99 per month and the ad-supported Paramount+ Essential plan for $4.99 a month.

The two other additional plans that bundled Showtime were -the ad-free Paramount+ Premium with Showtime and ad-supported Paramount+ Essential with Showtime- both costing $11.99 a month.

Following the merger of Showtime and Paramount+, there are only two plans now: Paramount+ Essential (formerly Essential) and Paramount+ Showtime (formerly Premium with Showtime).

With the changes coming to the platform, the old Premium plan has been discontinued, and former Premium Subscribers will automatically move to Paramount+ with Showtime.

And yes, there will be a price hike if you were subscribed to the Paramount+ Premium plan. Moving over to Paramount+ with Showtime costs $11.99 a month, meaning a $2/month price increase.

But if you were previously subscribed to Paramount+ Premium with Showtime, the price will be the same $11.99 per month (or $119.99/year) for the renamed Paramount+ with Showtime.

Meantime, the Paramount+ Essential plan, offering over 40,000 episodes and movies, which doesn’t include Showtime, will see a price increase from $4.99 to $5.99 a month or $59.99 a year.

Though the plan does not include local live CBS station, NFL on CBS and UEFA Champion League will be available through separate live feeds.

Paramount+ with Showtime offers over 45,000 episodes and movies. You can watch award-winning Showtime programs like The Chi, Dexter, and Billions, and hits like Yellowjackets.
