Casey DeSantis is the wife of the Governor of Florida, Ronald Dion DeSantis, aka Ron DeSantis. Ron is an American politician and attorney serving as the 46th governor of Floride since 2019.
Before this, Ron served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for Florida’s 6th district for about five years, from 2013 to 2018.
His wife Casey is a former news and television show host and the current first lady of Governor. On October 4, 2021, Governor Ron announced his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer.

In October, the Governor’s office made an official announcement that Ron Desantis’s wife Casey DeSantis had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Casey is considered the Governor’s most trusted adviser and has always taken an extremely active role in steering the administration through political and policy decisions.
The first lady was eventually scheduled for her cancer treatment and had to step back somewhat from the public eye. However, she appeared at Tampa’s Moffitt Cancer Center in December.
She announced that her husband, Ron, requested $100 million for cancer research and cared in his proposed budget, a $37 million increase over current funding.
Later the lawmakers granted the request and further named the fund after the first lady, Casey, considering it as part of budget negotiations. However, it is reported that the entire budget is yet to be finalized.

The first lady of Florida is officially cancer-free now, according to the announcement made by the Governor on March 3, 2022. Ron happily made an official announcement that his wife is now cancer-free.
Ron further thanked all those prayers and support they had received during the period. Casey was declared cancer-free after receiving both therapy and surgery for breast cancer.
Thanking all those people for supporting his wife and his family, Governor further added that he’s very confident that his wife will make a full recovery very soon.
Casey’s full name is Jill Casey Block, and she was born on June 26, 1980, in Troy, Ohio, U.S. She is forty-one years old as of 2022 and living a healthy life, more importantly, cancer-free.
Health Condition Of Casey DeSantis Now
Florida’s first lady is cancer-free now and is actively working toward fully recovering her health. Governor happily announced that his wife was cancer-free on March 3, 2022.
The official announcement of Casey being diagnosed with breast cancer was made on October 4, 2021. As Casey had to undergo cancer treatment, she had to step back from the public eye during the period.
She got a Bachelor of Science in economics from the College of Charleston, where she minored in French.
Ron and Casey first met on a golf course when Ron was a naval officer at Naval Station Mayport. The couple tied their knot in September 2010, and have two beautiful daughters, Madison and Mamie, and a son, Mason, together.
Casey is happily living a healthy life alongside her loving husband and three young children in the Florida Governor’s Mansion in Tallahassee, Florida.
