She was born in 1984 in Columbus, Indiana to Dr. Kathryn L. Watts and Dr. H. William Watts III. Her parents are both dentists with practices in Columbus, Indiana, where they reside.
Brittany Watts graduated from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
She is currently the director of sales for the Ritz-Carlton resort in Half Moon Bay, California.
Brittany and Representative Eric Swalwell were introduced in September 2015 by mutual friends whom the groom had set up 12 years before.
The couple walked down the aisle on October 14, 2016, at the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse in Oakland, California. Nancy E. O’Malley, the Alameda County district attorney, who is also a deputy marriage commissioner, officiated the nuptials.
Through their union, Brittany Ann Watts and Eric Swalwell share three children; Eric Nelson Swalwell, Kathryn Watts Swalwell (a.k.a. Cricket) and Hank Swalwell.
